i tried to run command “freebsd-update fetch”, but it was something wrong on screen like this:
Looking up update.FreeBSD.org mirrors… 1 mirrors found.
Fetching metadata signature for 7.0-RELEASE from update1.FreeBSD.org… done.
Fetching metadata index… done.
Fetching 2 metadata files… failed.

do you know why something like this can be occured?
thanx…

I get a similiar error except when I try typing in
freebsd-update fetch I get the response
“Fetching metadata signature for 7.1-PRERELEASE from update1.FreeBSD.org… failed.
No mirrors remaining, giving up.”
I can’t even find 7.1-PRERELEASE in update1.freebsd.org but freebsd-update was working before. How would I go about upgrading my system?
Thanks, Cloud
