Hi Alamster,
I just wanted to say thank you for putting Blogspoke's post 'Top 5 Ways Humanity Will Use Blogging to Evolve Our Species' as one of your 'My top picks for day 4 group writing project'

http://www.rasyid.net/2007/05/11/my-top-pick-for-day-4-group-writing-project

In my post you stated, 'niche topic from expert, make internet as school of universe :-) '

Yes, if everyone who was an expert in a certain niche subject, topic, or field wrote a blog about their thoughts, opinions, known facts, and beliefs-I think the Internet, and especially the Blogosphere, could indeed become a 'School of the Universe'. That's a beautiful way of wording it. Wouldn't this pool of collective knowledge have some massive impacts on our society and the way it interacts with the world and each other?

There will always be people who want to write false claims, or agitate others, but I think the masses of 'experts' (or at least knowledgable people) who have altruistic aims will use this medium to help create positive growth for our entire species.

It looks like with your 'Daily Ramblings around Unix, Linux, Windows ,PHP, and Chemical Engineering' blog, obviously your area of interest lies deep in the 'belly' of computer technology. This is one area where I am desperately unknowledgeable. How about some posts for novices/newbies like myself?
